Rated 5 out of five past BILL from immediate relief from the suns heat. We (husband and wife teamwork) installed pic in our sunroom and the effect was more than than we could have hoped for. He cut to size leaving 1/2 inch on all sides with SHARP BLADE. Placed scotch tape on the corner-both sides. As he separated it from the corner I held it up. He sprayed with solution as he pulled backing off. Once backing was completely off he sprayed solution generously on window. I slowly held film to window and when the elevation was set in position it sucked the whole piece to the window. I and so sprayed some solution on film and used a window squeegee (minor ane) starting at tiptop middle and then side to side working my mode down. I liked using information technology better than one in kit.. It gets easier as you go. When trimming edges use abrupt blade and work from bottom upwardly. I changed blade every three windows. Job took eight hours for iii Doors and 13 windows. DONT RUSH!

Rated 5 out of v by Austin from Easier than I expected for one person I was skeptical after reading all the reviews for this product, but it was easier to install than I expected. I was able to install the picture past myself on the ii 21 ten 62 inch windows of my french patio doors, and I am a novice female DIY-er. The product actually helps to block the rut from the scorching Texas summer lord's day. I used the installation kit and was impressed with how well the trim tool really cut the moving picture. Information technology is an extremely brusque "nub" of a bract merely information technology worked well. I didn't have any trouble with the film sticking to itself, but I sprayed it equally I removed the backing because I had two very long strips to carve up. The movie was easy to position when wet and like shooting fish in a barrel to correct any minor mistakes. I besides watched the installation video on the Gila website. Information technology was very helpful, as others have suggested. I would recommend this product because of the affordable price, ease of use, and minimal installation fourth dimension. It merely took me 2.5 hours to measure, cut, and install the film.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Destiny from Skilful for the toll This production is okay for the price. It does require ii people to practise the task and was fairly easy to install although non the easiest. I suggest watching the videos for tips and techniques. I did have to buy the installation kit separately. I don't know why I thought it would be included. I guess I misread something. The temp in the room has dropped some, simply not too much. It does make a difference and that is worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by grandma from love it keeps out oestrus but non the low-cal . deceit run into in the windows in the day and then we tin proceed the blinds open. then we can see out . takes two people to put on need to take your time . tin have off and move if y'all make a fault .

Rated 1 out of 5 past Untalented from Installation is a PAIN! Film is very hard to handle....creases develop which cannot exist removed. Corners are almost incommunicable to trim. If the blades catches. you accept a tear which cannot exist repaired. I gave upwards!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dissappointed from A waste matter of time I followed the directions explicitly, (and watch the video), just no affair which windows I applied this movie to , it started to peel off at the upper corner. It looked great for about a calendar week. And so pocket-sized air pockets began to grade and could not be squeezed out even with re-spraying. Once that happened the motion picture started to pull away a lilliputian fleck each 24-hour interval. Perhaps if it is applied in very warm atmospheric condition (both days and nights), the adhesion would exist better..
